Dellboy, over the years this subject has been discussed related to the Air Con Gas R1234yf / Dangers / Changing from New to Old / Condenser Problems etc...... If you go into “Search” all of the facts are there. If you have time you will most likely find all you need to help you - Dave 
PS you will find that most Nissan Dealers had to purchase the new equipment for the R1234yf as they had to Service Nissan Cars and it is expensive. Independents did tend to hold off on this outlay but now all new vehicles use this Gas so you should have more options - but it does cost like running any vehicle there is an outlay.
