Hi all
I have been busy reading the forums for hints and tips
I have a QQ 2015 TI and want to get the auto closing mirrors and windows - even though it is suppose to come with them it doesn't.
I love a gadgets of any kind and I feel I need this at the very least anyway, the point is, one seller asked where my car was built - I have no idea where, can you tell me how to find out?

Welcome aboard; we have a few others on forum from Oz too.
There is a Nissan part to convert the mirrors; my model doesn't have either;
was introduced later.
And here's a link to factory production.
J11B model introduced earlier this year:

Hi Gel, thanks quite interesting
So you are saying they are all from UK? I'll let acesdvds.co.uk know although their link to non UK purchases seems to be broken
Cheers

Yours in Oz are from the UK Sunderland factory, but there's also production in Russia where they have an upgraded
suspension because of the rough terrain. China makes them too. ACES were active in selling mirror conversion kits
but believed they pulled out, as there were too many variants in QQ's wiring, making it hard to know which wires
to splice into. Try Alibaba.

TrishK, firstly welcome to the Forum. We had a similiar problem with our 2014 QQ no Auto Closing but later in the year an update was done. We decided to go for a Nissan Part and had this installed by our Dealer, the Aces Co. also had a Kit but there were many electrical questions raised and we decided to play safe and let the Pros sort it which they did. I believe Aces now have a problem as the QQ‘s have as other manufacturers included this feature. If you are interested here is the Nissan Part from a UK Supplier :
Regarding the country of Build I believe you will find that the Oz QQ‘s are Built in Japan as are the USA (Rogue Sport) and you most probably have the bigger motor 2,0L
I hope this of some help - Dave 11.19/1.3L/160PS/Tekna+/DCT/PrOPILOT/KAD Gun Metallic/Trunk Lower Finisher/Rear Glass Finisher/Ambient Lighting-LED’s Innen/Entry Guards Illuminated/Sport Pedals/Front Styling Plate/LED No.Plate/Chrome Door Handles/Rear Valance/Giacuzzo Alloys + Falken

Hi and thank you Dave for all that info
I had read it was probably made in Japan - the kit I was looking at is this
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Qash ... :rk:1:pf:0
It's about 115 AUD compared to the mirror only kit for 150 aud
But if it is no good then I would want to go the glyn hopkins road
What do you experts think?

TrishK, it looks pretty good for a Window & Mirror Kit, but it is one of those “Suck It & See” decisions unless another member has installed this Kit and can advise you. It can’t be bad as it comes from “Harrow Middlesex” where I was born . I would advise that you speak to a friend that has some Know-how or a Dealer so things do not get “Screwed Up” - Dave

Even Nissan dealers have reported difficulty in fitting Nissan Kit, as instructions are vague &
