Hi, newbie here.. be gentle with me
Just ordered a new Qashqai after having a juke for 3yrs.. ( 1.6 cvt 4X4 top of the shop)
1.3 mercedes engine coupled to a 7 speed double clutch VW ?gearbox ?
Or did he mean it’s the same as the vw gearbox but actually another Nissan/Renault collaboration?
Can’t wait to see what badges are on the boot...

Qashron, please try reading all the posts under “Search” Top LH Corner as there is a Lot of reading on this subject of the New Upgraded QQ.
The new model does not have a 1,6L Motor or CVT Gearbox (It is a 1,3L with a DCT Gearbox).
The engine is an Alliance Engine Built by Nissan / Renault & Mercedes.
The DCT Gearbox is a 7 Speed Renault Box not a VW but possibly very similiar.
I think you will find that only the new 1,7L Diesel is available with 4x4 drive.

I would suggest you double check your order, not that you end up with an “Older” Version QQ when your aim is a New one - Dave

Yep..I thought from some years back that Renault were supplying engines to earlier A Class Mercs. Likely cheaper to out source at the level.
