Telephone list - favourites

Hi. Just received an n-connecta, 2018 version. All of my contacts were imported from my android phone to the car, but I cannot see any way of creating a favourites list, which means if I need to call someone I need to go through hundreds of contacts. Is there a way of adding pre-set favourites (as I managed to do with the DAB stations)? Thanks.

I have a J11a
When connected via Bluetooth and in an area with mobile data coverage, I can press the "make a call" button on the steering wheel and say "Call: Joe Bloggs" Siri then says "calling Joe Bloggs, mobile". No need to create a list of favourites.
I can't see any reason that an android phone shouldn't have the same ability.

If the car is brand spanking new, a short cut might be to give your sales man/woman a quick call and pop in for him/her to sort it out for you - my sales woman sorted my phone/connect out while I checked the car's paint, etc. on the day I picked it up.

Good Luck

Mike, exactly what I do and “Siri” does do a good job if you speak to him clearly 🙂. It is highly likely that yost72 has one of the original J11B models which does not have this “Hands Free” Facility as the Newer versions now have.
If you use “Search” there are various posts on this subject this one being the longest and hottest - Dave 😉

This is one of the longer Posts on the subject :

Dave, I spotted that but wasn’t aware of the "problem" with early J11B.

My new 2019 (yom=2018) Tekna has the issue of the voice call button not working . Apparently its been taken out of service , deliberately by Nissan !!!
What on earth they are thinking of is beyond me , as that little button is a far more safer option of making a call than scrolling through reams of names on the screen . Maybe someone , somewhere can somehow tell me the logic behind this ?
