What a great car for the price, the Nappa leather is something else and super comfy with the heated seats in the chilly mornings is just so nice.
The ride quality is great, I was nervous after seeing negative reviews about the 19” wheels. However this is all nonsense! Those massive wheels just ride over all the blemishes in the road with grace.
The 1.3 is very chippy! at no point has the car been sluggish. The car eases through it’s 6 speed gearbox with fineness. And with the added sport steering mode makes it a fun drive.
All the safety features are great, the lane assist gets annoying around town as going down a road with cars parked up sets it off all the time however with one push of a button it’s off.
Apple car play is brilliant and works great with the QQ and Siri has been flawless throughout.
The panoramic sunroof is sublime, and let’s in so much light even on the most glum day. The intelligent keyless entry and exit is next level and I won’t ever want to go back to having a “key”
Touch wood I haven’t discovered any signifying negatives at this time and it’s been a great ride, here’s to the next 3 years.

That colour still looks great even after two years. However I really think the J11b is crying out for a shaped front numberplate - like this one but the other way up:

Now you’ve pointed it out to me, you’re right! That would look awesome and much more sporty.gloucester wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 5:58 pm That colour still looks great even after two years. It’s fine trust me! This is what I never got, if you think about a larger wheel going over a pot hole. Less of the tyre is actually going to dip down compared to a smaller one resulting in a less of a bump. I think the confusion comes from the fact there is less thickness in the tyre which is correct however the QQ compensates with the suspension and being higher off the ground.
When I had my Vauxhall Adam with 18” tyres, yes the ride was less comfy but I was lower to the ground and the sup suspension was awful compared to the QQ.
You have no worries I’m loving every minute in the car atm.

Glad to see you’re enjoying it, PCBatman, it looks lovely in that gorgeous blue colour. I’m the same as you, picked up my Tekna+ 140 (in GunMetal) on Thursday, and loving every minute with it.
Changing from a 1.5dci to the 1.3 petrol makes for a much smoother, quieter ride, with a noticeable increased acceleration, especially at lower revs. The gear box seems a lot tighter, with less of a ‘gate’ between gear changes. The ride is very similar, as I expected, as I had 19 inch wheels on the last one anyway.
Possibly the only downside is the slightly lower fuel economy on the petrol version, but that’s not that bad as I feared, given that I’m still working the gears and revving it a little more than usual.
Android Auto works ok on my phone, but not on my partner’s newer Samsung, which has peeved her a little. I’ve told her not to worry, as I won’t be letting her drive it very often anyway.
Enjoy your lovely car, Sid.

Just got android auto running on/via my Samsung S8. I am also am very happy with the feel and ride on the 19" wheels too.
Am taking it easy on the engine for a while but feels very strong with quite a throaty sound to it.
This is my 3rd Qashqai now and all suffer the 'one wing mirror opens/closes quicker than the other'
