HI.IM BRIAN AND NEW TO NISSAN,JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT A NISSAN QUASHQAI 1.5 DIESAL ACCENTA PREMIUM.
I HAVE A AUDIBLE CHIME COMES ON WITHOUT A WARNING SIGN ON THE DASH. SEEMS TO COME ON WHEN I AM CHANGING UP THROUGH THE GEARS WHEN THE GEAR CHANGE INDICATOR HAS BEEN ON, WAS THINKING MAYBE ITS BECAUSE I AM NOT CHANGING GEAR AS SOON AS THE INDICATOR ON THE DASH COMES.OR WOULD IT BE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ROAD SIGN RECOGNISHTION .CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH AN ANSWER PLEASE.

Hi Brian, welcome. I think the chimes you are hearing are related to the user enterable speed/traffic warnings. I turned mine off this afternoon. It's a setting found via the connect unit rather than the mini settings screen in front of the driver. In the settings, navigation section there are settings where you can adjust the speed related alerts in the Safety Guide Settings screen.
