Hey, I’ve just discovered this forum, I’m hoping to get lots of advice on here. My name is Adele and I live in Oxfordshire.
Anyway I bought my QashQai in October 2018. It’s a 68reg acenta premium 1.5 diesel. And I can honestly say it’s the worse car I have had. It’s had no end of problems and it’s begining to get on my nerves, it’s already been in the garage a few times
1st ad blue issue
2nd safety recall
3rd keeps cutting out
4th oil leak
5th stop start issue.
All that in the first 6 months 😞

Wish I could get rid of it but it’s on motibility so I’m stuck with it for another 2 years

Raise issues with your local dealership, or find an alternate one if current dealer is not addressing issues.

Most cars will occasionally have recall notices.
Think you can safely ignore Stop/Start issue; many here would like to turn off permanently!

Adele, just follow what Gel has mentioned. You have purchased a Nissan with a Guarantee and your Dealer or Another should check and put the Problems right. You should not be even thinking about correcting problems until a Nissan Dealer has checked, once you start playing around your Guarantee could be “Null & Void”. Most QQ Owners have had problems of some kind and normally these have been corrected, but you might have to chase or even get the well known NCS involved - Best of Luck Dave 😉

I don’t fiddle with my car at all, always take it to the dealer.. they are close to useless tho! And it’s the closest to me. Others are 50+ miles away. When the car has no problems and running fine, I love it.

As the Qashqai is on the mobility scheme, you will get a courtesy car. Just keep taking it back until you are happy with it.
