Fuel guage won't go above 3/4 full

Hi thanks for adding me
Just purchased J11 67 n connecta 1.6 dig t that has a fuel gauge and miles remain problem ( obviously related)
When I fill up the gauge won't go above 3/4 fuel and miles remaining show about 430.
I have changed sender unit and disconnected battery but still the same.
The car is an accident repair so I don't know if still warrantied as I have never had a car this new cheers

Warranty likely questionable depending on repairer. Thats an analogue to digital system for display so likely computed somewhere in a black box.The ECM transmits fuel info to the Combination Display - Fuel consumption monitor signal

Since the miles remaining is affected also, perhaps its a wiring problem...higher resistance somewhere?

No idea about warrantee/fuel gauge

However, you should be able to re-set the mpg, etc. (and therefore mile remaining) in the menus displayed in the central portion of the driver's binnacle.
