Qashqai boot not opening (2008)

I see some previous posts about boots not opening but seemingly with different issues. My boot has had a few issues not opening easily over the last few months but now I cant open it at all. I assume there is a wiring issue or the micro switch is broken but I’m a bit stuck now. Obviously I should have addressed it before now!
Is it possible to fix this if the boot won’t open?
Can I remove the boot panels from the inside or can I open the boot from the inside?
