Hi Folks.

I’m new to the joys of QQ ownership, but I’m picking up a 2016 1.2 Tekna tomorrow. No doubt I’ll have a few questions, but I promise I’ll search before asking!

Incidentally, I’ve been lurking and reading posts here for a while. It’s been really helpful, seeing real world experiences (warts and all), so I’m grateful to you all already.

John

John, firstly welcome to the Forum and you should enjoy the QQ even with the 1,2L Motor ours has been great for 5 years and I still enjoy it. The mention of the word “Search” can become a pain but many of us here have been around since 2014 and have an idea of what has been posted before. This is not a critism, but this area have so many facts and specifications that it is always worth a look at first if possible. Enjoy your QQ ! - Dave 😊

Thanks Dave.

Well I picked my QQ up yesterday and I’m loving it so far. The engine is smooth and plenty willing enough for my needs. The car copes well with the crappy roads around south London and the audio system makes sitting in traffic actually quite pleasant.

The only things I don’t like, so far, are the handbreak and the tiny dent my car picked up between me ordering and collecting it (which the dealer will fix).

Nice cars, these!

John, you will get used to the Handbrake I just leave it ON or place it ON when needed and drive away - automatic release, easy and convenient - Dave 😊
