Qashqai Model: Mk.2 Qashqai Facelift - J11b (2017–2021)

Post by Wickie89 »

Recently bought a second hand Nissan Qashqai. Have had no problems with the fuel consumption per 100km display previously, if I ever had my foot off the accelerator or was at a stand still it would drop to 0, and only when I accelerate would it go up... normal right? I get that. But now, if I'm driving below 20ks an hour or at a stand still it goes to the highest point and the engine sounds like she is sitting at a higher rev than normal... it isn't normal. I have been to my Nissan dealership and they have run all the computer tests and says there is nothing faulty showing, I have tried explaining to them that this wasn't happening before and there is a difference, they won't listen as I'm not a mechanic. Has anyone had this issue? Would rather have it rectified whilst I'm still under the manufacturer warranty. Thank you all. Jannah aka Wickie89
