dawgs, out of 30 posts, 28 are about a damn
muffler I aint gonna fiddle with my car yet as none
of you have the muffler in your hands
I’ll help the dawg that has made an order on ali,
but I’m pretty sure he’ll manage all by himself just fine .
All I can say, for the peanut money, you get high
quality inox muffler, that looks pretty good on the car .

Verudela, the front looks very nice and I would assume this Tinting is Legal or allowed in Croatia. Are the Lights Sprayed or Filmed and do you notice any reduction in the quality of Light, personally I would think there is a reduction - Dave

Out of interest was does “dawgs” mean ?

In the UK it appears there are Laws that need adhering to : “The good news (and bad in some cases) headlight tints are allowed by MOT—The Ministry of Transport in the UK. But as expected, there are rules that can restrict the kinds of modifications you can make to your vehicles, including headlights. This includes having the headlights remain their original colour, therefore colours such as red, green or purple are illegal, and the tint must not dim the light emitted by more than 50%.”

Verudela, looking more closely it would appear to be the Photo, it really looked like a good Tint Job. It was worth a question though a waste of time. Thanks for the translation ! - Dave

few other small mods I didn’t mention before, interior
and backup leds, dynamic turn signals, dash cam, phone holder
at desired angle by a flexible 1euro led light which is
turned off, you practicaly get a second display at a
perfect position,

Well its over...Story is it doesn't fit AND after I paid a customs charge of £12.42. Inside diameter of trim is 60mm doesn't even go over the end of exhaust and if it did it would be at wrong angle. I guess they must have installed different exhaust systems on some J11's. Anyone who wants this you can have it for £18 inc postage...it cost me £23.50 from ali express

Hi Red Rooster this was exactly the point I was trying to make, which was on topic as the muffler was one of modifications made, and was simply trying to highlight that not all qashqai mufflers are Created equal, even if they say so on AliExpress. Like you I bought a Qashqai certified muffler for my car and it didn’t fit. Which led me to look into it in more detail so the second unit I purchased clearly stated 70mm ID bore and this did fit my 1.5dci exhaust. Like you my first failed install unit had a 60mm ID dimension and from the Seller advert images both are identical in appearance with both saying for Qashqai but clearly 70mm is not the same as 60mm.If you are still interested in fitting one I can let you know where I got mine.

RivieraMan Thanks for the update. If you could take a pic of your exhaust end and see if it is any different to mine. That 70mm ID one you got sounds ok so if you send me a link where you got it would be great.Either pm or on here. I dont want to buy another one and it doesnt fit.
