Welcome to this forum!

You might usefully give the details of your car in your signature to aid model identification in future?

Good morning
I purchased a new Qashqai Tekna+ !.3 two weeks ago. I tried several times to install the Nissan Connect app on my iPhone without success. I contacted Nissan Customer Services and after three attempts was informed that the 2020 Qashqai does not support Nissan Connect app anymore. To be told this after spending thousands of pounds on a new car is, to say the least ,very disappointing. Nissans excuse was lack of demand on their best selling car, yet they are still making the app available on the X -Trail, Leaf and Navara so this does not make sense .Has anyone else come up against this problem? I Contacted the dealer that sold me the car and they said they had no knowledge that the app would no longer be available .

Bricor2011, but you do have all the other additions in the Tekna +, take a look at this attachment it might help you. Out of interest I tried our old “Nissan Connect” App and it does not function its “Disconnected” - Dave 🙂

Dave...this confuses me periodically. Your box (ICE) and the subject box are Android Auto or Car Play are they not? Which is about placing whats on the Smartphone onto the ICE screen mainly. Downloads of anything are via the phone/PC wifi/usb....like TomTom maps etc. Nissan (Connect) stepped out of the App game with Connect 3 boxes circa 2017 AFAIK? End of and without explanation.

Nissan Ads on the subject are somewhat confusing...mixing stuff up with the US and EVs. Leaving Nissan Connect references on the web...here and there. The dealer is quite shocking in this respect.

Hi Dave,
All of those apps you list on your post are the ones, among others that Nissan told me were no longer available through Nissan Connect .I don't really understand it ,but all I know I have paid for something which I was led to believe was on the new car I purchased and I can no longer access ,ie Apple CarPlay and all the things that go with it . To be frank I feel misled and cheated .
Thanks for your help,
Regards Brian.

Bricor2011, we also have the Tekna + and what we have I am happy with as I Did not use these Apps that were available in our older QQ J11 such as Facebook / Twitter etc. Please take a look at the attachment and read it closely including the small print at the very end and note the availabilities for the Juke / Navada and Leaf called Nissan Connect Services. Some are Free and some you pay for.
Now when I buy a car I ask for Service and our QQ Nissan Connect was set up by our Sales Guy before we drove off including “Door to Door”.
Hope this Helps Dave 😏
