Yeah, GM did a pretty good job of stuffing up Holden, Vauxhall, SAAB, Opel etc - and now Vauxhall has gone from the frying pan into the fire having been taken over by PSA group; I reckon Vauxhall will disappear before too long, once PSA has stripped whatever they want out of it. They even had the cheek to say that they were not intending on cutting any jobs or closing any sites at the time they were bidding for the firm, and here only months ahead they announce they are going to shed 400 jobs. Ryton all over again.

Guess Vauxhall will no longer sell their hottest version anymore that was imported from Oz., the Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst S.

Given that Vauxhall product is currently all GM stuff, their separation from the group surely means that their current product lines are on marked time? That would give PSA two choices - invest in modifying their platforms to produce new product lines, or quietly shut Vauxhall down and thus remove one of their current competition from the picture.......
