There appears to be a “Nissan Recall” on Child Door Locks Rear Doors on RH Drive QQ’s Sept 2015 - March 2018 so take a read and check with your Dealer - asking costs nothing Dave

The spring of a locking mechanism of the rear doors, which was specially developed for certain markets with left-hand traffic does not meet the specifications. This could cause the child safety lever to move from the locked to the unlocked position while driving. The doors would then open unintentionally from the inside. The component is required with the model Juke, Navara, Note, Pulsar, and Qashqai from the production period between September 2015 to March 2018.
