What is AutoSock? AutoSock is a textile tire cover that increases traction on icy and snowy winter roads. AutoSock is very easy and quick to mount and remove, significantly easier and faster than any metal snow chain. It takes around two minutes to install and is widely compatible. The textile is damage-free to alloy rims and the sizes fit nearly every tire dimension. AutoSock is reusable, durable and high performing.

Europe : Autolock for passenger cars is approved according to the new European Standard EN16662-1:2020. This standard will be implemented as a national standard by all EU member states by latest November 30th, 2020. This means AutoSock will fulfill national winter driving regulations in all EU member states latest by December 1st, 2020. Read more on this latest achievement.
Already now : AutoSock for passenger cars complies with French winter driving regulations and can be used when snow chains are required in France, Italy, Spain, Andorra, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Switzerland : As from October 2020, AutoSock for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles is a legally accepted alternative to snow chains.

Hi Dave ive had one of these for about 5years but never used it yet but have tried them on when i got them and they are much easier than chains.
