Hi Gel, this was a Moose which is Big Big but there are often reports here in Germany of pretty Big Accidents normally because the Driver reacts with shock and tries to steer around here a Deer. Unfortunately this action is not recommended because there are Big Wooden Things called Trees lining the roads which hurt and Kill. But you can still end up badly hurt if you hit the Deer and also end up with a written off car. Here are a few facts which might be interesting. It looks like Speed and awareness is a major factor - Dave 😏

How to Act in an Emergency :
When encountering deer / be ready to break / switch off high beam / sound horn
If a collision is inevitable: tight grip on the steering wheel, break strongly, no evasive maneuvers
