They don't mention the price has already gone up £3,000 in the UK even before it's launched - since the grant cap has been lowered from £50k to £35k.

Some more facts on the Nissan Ariya - Dave 😏

“Nissan presents details of the meticulous vehicle testing programme behind Ariya’s unparalleled levels of performance, comfort and control, designed to optimise the driving experience on roads worldwide. Tested extensively by a team of veteran engineering experts at Nissan’s proving ground in Hokkaido, Japan, each element from acceleration performance and sharp handling to overall quietness and ride comfort has been carefully reviewed and refined.”

Interesting comparison video - it uses manufacturer visuals so not a direct comparison, but does show how comparatively close the Ariya and Ionic 5 are - and of course the Kia EV6 will be pretty close too.

Nissan needs to get the Ariya to the market though - you can already order an EV6 (for October delivery)

The EV vehicles look, to me, far better than the new models with a petrol engine! Maybe it is a conspiracy to force electrification upon us all , regardless of all drawbacks !!!???? :-)

In Belgium there is great intrest in EVs... as company cars that get tax cuts. Otherwise, as someone who has to pay for a car myself.... No incentive at all.
However, I do firmly believe the qashqai j12 will be the very last petrol version!
