They don't mention the price has already gone up £3,000 in the UK even before it's launched - since the grant cap has been lowered from £50k to £35k.

Interesting comparison video - it uses manufacturer visuals so not a direct comparison, but does show how comparatively close the Ariya and Ionic 5 are - and of course the Kia EV6 will be pretty close too.



Nissan needs to get the Ariya to the market though - you can already order an EV6 (for October delivery)

The EV vehicles look, to me, far better than the new models with a petrol engine! Maybe it is a conspiracy to force electrification upon us all , regardless of all drawbacks !!!???? :-)

EV Incentives in Germany / National EV Incentives / Subsidies
Umweltbonus – save up to €9,000 on the purchase of your EV:
Germany’s ‘Umweltbonus’ (environmental bonus) program (German text) offers grants for the purchase or lease of EVs.

** The following incentives apply for vehicles registered between 5 November 2019 and 3 June 2020:
For vehicles priced up to €40,000:
Fully-electric: €6,000
Plug-in hybrid: €4,500
For vehicles priced up to €65,000:
Fully-electric: €5,000
Plug-in hybrid: €3,750

*** The following incentives are based on the extension of the Umweltbonus (‘Innovationsprämie’), as per the new economic stimulus package (German text), and apply for vehicles registered between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2021:

In Belgium there is great intrest in EVs... as company cars that get tax cuts. Otherwise, as someone who has to pay for a car myself.... No incentive at all.
However, I do firmly believe the qashqai j12 will be the very last petrol version!
