Thanks for your concern, can somebody send me a pic of this Special vehicle as I am blocked by the DT here. Out here they have the Normal Emergency Services and then the THV which is a Specialised Group of people and vehicles that are used in emergencies and it is a voluntary Group with Donations - these are the experts !
Luckily we are in the North / East of Germany and we have had the storms (Berlin has no Hills and one main River the Spree) but not like it was in the West & South Areas who are getting it in an extremely Bad Way. At least 106 are dead and 1300 missing and one of the Big problems here is most Houses have Cellars, so now the Foundations are unstable, Buildings need Structural Checks and then comes what and who has Insurance - A real bag of Worms !
Again Thanks for your Concern ! - Dave

โMenzi Muck is not just the name of a walking excavator, Menzi Muck is a synonym. The Menzi Muck is produced with a dead weight of between 2 and 10 tons. As inventors, producers and leaders on the market for construction equipment technology on challenging terrain. The walking excavators' special features are based on a sophisticated high-tech chassis and the patented boom: various hydraulic cylinders enable the all-rounder to adapt its wheels and supports to any terrain. For this in some countries the Menzi Muck is also called spider excavator. Fixed tilting edges on Menzi Muck tracked excavators can be adjusted depending on the task ahead thanks to the adjustable wheel and claw supports. As a result, it produces lifting and ripping forces beyond those of conventional excavators. A Menzi Muck weighing 9.5 tons produces an output similar to that of a 20 ton tracked excavator.โ
