Are the bosch ones still considered to be the best ? Its been a while since I looked into wiper blades and last time I did there were conflicting views as to which sizes worked best.

Is the AR652S still the best set to get ? Its quite hard to find them in stock now at a local Car Spares or Euro Spares.

Thanks

I found it easier and cheaper to order the individual ones recently, e.g. I got the passenger one, AR17U, on Euro car parts for £8.69 with free delivery, although that included a bank holiday promo voucher number. Got the main AR26U on Amazon for £10.59

Measurement wise, they seemed identical in length to the ones I removed, so hopefully they were the correct ones. They work well.

There is another May bank holiday coming up shortly, so Euro may have the same deal again. You can't miss it, it was plastered all over their front page. Up to 50% off depending on the item.

OK thanks. I did look at the Euro parts web site as they do currently have 30% off but as you have put above they only have the 17" version (same size as OEM) and not the 18" as noted elsewhere on this site that seem to fit OK.

I just bought an AR652S set on eBay for under £17. The set's also up there for £18.39 including P+P which is still cheaper than buying separately from Euro Car Parts, Amazon etc.

You can fit a longer one on passenger side (to that fitted) for a bigger sweep arc.
Here's link for AR652S

Bought Bosch SP set for qashqai from Europarts about a month ago SP 26S & SP16; but found a gap left on bottom of screen and the passenger side sweep is too low.
Interesting to read that an 18 inch blade will work for the passenger side. Is that OK - a 2 inch bigger size? Just want to check before I purchase a single one in replacement.
Also it seems a 28 inch would be OK for driver side as well, but would that work with an 18 inch passenger side also.
being tall we miss the larger sweep

28 inch would be too long for driver's side because it would interfere with the passenger's wiper, which (when OEM) is 17 inch*. You might just get away with 28 x 16 but that means making the passenger wiper even smaller than standard. However, 26 x 18 inch is fine for the passenger side because it's only half an inch closer to the edge of the windscreen than the original (the extra inch translating into half an inch each end). See the photos on page 3.

*Actually 16.7 inch (425mm), and the "18 inch" is 17.7 inch (450mm). Similarly the driver's "26 inch" wiper is 25.6 inch (650mm)

Just be weary that this seller has 1 negative that says the blade are not originals. I paid only slightly more to buy from a power seller with much faster shipping/delivery.
