Hound wrote: Mon May 22, 2017 3:00 pm It slides off, but it takes a bit of force. It's designed to come off and clip onto either side, depending on whether you have a LHD or RHD car that uses that type of windscreen washer. The illustration on the back of the box shows someone removing it and fitting it on the other side with their bare fingers, but I was much too feeble to do that.
Thanks for clarifying in plain English. I am hopeless at following those hieroglyphics they print as "instructions" :)

Interesting to read that an 18 inch blade will work for the passenger side. Is that OK - a 2 inch bigger size? Just want to check before I purchase a single one in replacement.
Also it seems a 28 inch would be OK for driver side as well, but would that work with an 18 inch passenger side also.
being tall we miss the larger sweep
after a search I ordered a Bosch SP 18 inch via Amazon. through Euro Car Parts. At £5.49 , it was even cheaper than ordering on line to collect at their place locally! & free delivery, came today via DHL, fitted OK. Usual very difficult to fit, just have to grip the sides and push. Didn't forget to put a thick blanket over the windscreen just in case.

Finally got mine this morning (so much for the Monday/Tuesday delivery). Anyway I have just fitted them and they went on fine. Managed to remove those washer thingys by pulling slightly towards me at the same time as sliding across as it looks like there is a little black piece of plastic that acts as a stop so it wont just slide.

Right ... just need some rain now so I can test them ;-)

i am very satisfied with the original wiper blades. i have them 4.5 years and are good as new no lines etc.
From the greek http://qashqaiforum.gr/thread/138i found out that the car's oem wiper blades are mitsuba and nissan does'nt sell only the rubber inserts.
But honda does.
The honda product codes for our car are 76622-STK-A02 (driver LH), and 76632-SWA-J02 (passenger LH)

Just an Update the Winter is coming and I have just replaced our Wiper Blades with the Old Wiper Blades that I fitted with the Spare Rubbers and they work just great. So for just a little Hand Work saved a bit of money which was not really the reason. I now have to order new Front Bosch Aero Twins AR652S (£19,65) & Rear H301 (£5,58) which are still reasonably priced on Amazon, plus the inclusion of 2x Spare Rubbers - Dave 😉

Hi Folks,

I recently bought new wipers from my local Nissan dealership, they worked terribly it would leave streaks instead of properly clearing the rain and were actually worse then the old ones. Went back to the dealer and got replacements fitted by them and had the same issue again after a couple of weeks. Anyone had this happen to them? I'm going to be going back to the dealer this week again.

Have you tried cleaning the windscreen (and I mean with a proper CREAM glass cleaner like Auto Glym's) ? It might well be that there is tree sap or something else thats causing it to smudge.

Other than that it might just be crap wipers they are selling you (wouldn't put it past a dealer to do that !). I fitted Bosch and haven't looked back. Mine have been on 18 months and are still as good as new :)

Lanstrom, definitely have the same opinion of the Bosch Wipers my Spare Blades are also working well and I have just got the next delivery as mentioned above. I did try cleaning our screen as there is a lot of Nature rubbish flying around this time of the year. I used Rain-X Cleaner but things did not improve so I changed to the Old Blades with the New Rubbers and got a good result. Definitely the outlay for better quality blades is a bonus, they last longer and you can see again 😂 - Dave :)

J11 QQ need 28' and 17' wiper blades. This size fit perfectly. Dab the wiper stalk twice to put the blades in an up right position on the screen. Costco do a pair of Michelin blades for £15.

I cleaned the window with my usual glass cleaner that always worked for me but long story short is that I had 3 different sets of Nissan wipers blades and all the same issue after a few days. Got new ones from motor factor, no further issues. Turns out Nissan wipers are just rubbish
