When I was "Young" I went through the phase of buying
a brand new Mini-Van in 1962 (cost new 375 UK Pounds) and then went on to a
997cc Mini Cooper / 1275 Mini Cooper S / Mini Clubman & finally a Metro
Turbo all small and fun Go Kart driving - Dave It now looks like BMW & Toyota are
working on a joint partnership for a real small size Mini. This could happen in
2018 or 2019. This will be a partnership between BMW and Toyota, using the same
platform used for the next-generation Toyota iQ a€” known as the Scion iQ in
North America. The new generation of Mini Cooper's have grown in size and
gained weight and the Minor is almost guaranteed to live up to its name. It's
expected to be roughly 11.3 feet long, making the Minor almost two feet shorter
than the new Cooper 5-door.

Yes, I remember the old Mini, especially the one where the front suspension collapsed on me! Some very interesting collaborations taking place at the moment, I note that the are a lot of parts in the new Infiniti that come from Mercedes.
Tekna CVT 1.6 Magnetic Red - born 4/4/14 P/X 25/10/2015 for £19k with 12,000 on the clock - great car but time to change. No problems whatsoever in those 18 month's.

Peter, there is also the Joint Developement with Nissan / Mercedes of a Pickup Truck using the Nissan NP 300 as a basis which I commented on recently. It looks like the name of the game is Cost Savings, Quicker Developement and getting to the Market quicker, I suppose it does make good Business sense - Dave
