I was a bit surprised today as after changing these Henkel De-Humidifying Bags early April the Granules are already beginning to turn to Gel. This tends to indicate moisture in the QQ and OK we did have a wet April and the AC is mostly always on. So Amazon have just got another order for a couple of packets - Dave :)

I decided to change the 2 Henkel De-Humidifying Bags today and this is the result from New Crystals to a Slimmy Gel just in a couple of months. Just some feedback for those interested - Dave :)

If anybody is interested I have just ordered and received these De-Humidifer Packs from Amazon Germany, but not under the Henkel Name now Pattex. In the U.K. at Amazon they are called Unibond priced at Β£3.99 for two - Dave :)

Hi Dave,
I’ve used the following in my most recent cars and as it’s reusable it saves on needing to keep buying sachets.

Mad Maru, thanks for the information. The reason I chose the Henkel Type was for convenience, OK they cost money to replace them, but before we had larger units but would not fit under the seats and therefore with 4 passengers it was a pain to keep moving them. The one you suggest the ThoMar Car De-Humidifier makes sense as it is re-useable but also large @ 35x14x9, if I may ask where do you fit yours, on the floor for example or elsewhere - Dave :)

I put mine on the rear parcel shelf as it fits perfectly in the passenger side area easy to remove and recondition and helps keep rear windows clear especially if sat in car waiting with engine etc off. I also ensure all interior windows are regularly cleaned which I find helps with misting and reducing moisture buildup in the car.

Noticed my qashqai was the worst car for needing dehumidifying, then on detailing world someone mentioned looking for leaks and found the rear tyre well a well for water. New boot seal cured it.

I went away from using the Henkel Dehumidifiers and thought I would try a larger version from Lidl (similiar to as mentioned by Gel). OK it does take up the 1x Rear Floor Space, but after installing I checked today and 1,5 L of water was in the container in just 3 months of use. This year in Berlin there has been very little rain but mostly high temps up to 39C. I have emptied the container and will continue to use the remaining Bag before replacing - Dave πŸ˜‰

Just to keep the feedback going I have just emptied 1L from the container after 5 weeks, so it does appear to be doing its job. Blind still open no condensation - Dave πŸ˜‰

Just to keep the feedback going. Got the new QQ early December and decided to place a couple of the Henkel Bags I still had lying around. Well today I checked them after 5 weeks and the Granulat was like Jelly. Our Roof Blind was open, checked under the Rubber Carpets, all is dry, no condensation, even thought there has been some rain. Last year I bought a Large Dehumidifier from Lidl and it done the job but it was a little on the Big Side. Today I got hold of a smaller Lidl version (€3,99) with 3 Spare Granulat Bags and it fits under the Seats which is better space wise, I will keep a check on this version - Dave 😏
