Have you reset the throttle body? Modern fly by wire systems, If disconnected, need to relearn their parameters. The process to reset is not the same for all cars, but generallly follows a similar pattern, for example by pressing the throttle, holding it whilst turniing ignition on and off a certain amount of times.
If you google, you'll find it.

Here is the Note reset procedure, it may be the same?
1. Perform EC-857, "Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning" . (ignore)

2. Perform EC-857, "Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning" .(ignore)

3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.

4. Check that all items listed under the topic PREPARATION (previously mentioned) are in good order.

5. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

6. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch ON and wait 3 seconds.

7. Repeat the following procedure quickly five times within 5 seconds.

a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal.

b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.

8. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the MI stops

blinking and turned ON.

9. Fully release the accelerator pedal within 3 seconds after the MI turned ON.

10. Start engine and let it idle.

11. Wait 20 seconds.

Just had a squint at my manual and regarding TB and idle system learning it says this:

ACCELERATOR PEDAL RELEASED POSITION LEARNING : Description INFOID:0000000001179945
Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning is a function of ECM to learn the fully released position of the
accelerator pedal by monitoring the accelerator pedal position sensor output signal. It must be performed each
time harness connector of accelerator pedal position sensor or ECM is disconnected.
ACCELERATOR PEDAL RELEASED POSITION LEARNING : Special Repair Requirement
INFOID:0000000001179946
1.START
1. Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released.
2. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds.
3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
4. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
>> END

THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING
THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING : Description INFOID:0000000001179947
Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning is a function of ECM to learn the fully closed position of the throttle
valve by monitoring the throttle position sensor output signal. It must be performed each time harness connector
of electric throttle control actuator or ECM is disconnected.
THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING : Special Repair Requirement
INFOID:0000000001179948
1.START
1. Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
Make sure that throttle valve moves during above 10 seconds by confirming the operating sound.
>> END

IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING
IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING : Description INFOID:0000000001179949
Idle Air Volume Learning is a function of ECM to learn the idle air volume that keeps each engine idle speed
within the specific range. It must be performed under any of the following conditions:
• Each time electric throttle control actuator or ECM is replaced.
• Idle speed or ignition timing is out of specification.
IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING : Special Repair Requirement INFOID:0000000001179950
1.PRECONDITIONING
Make sure that all of the following conditions are satisfied.
Learning will be cancelled if any of the following conditions are missed for even a moment.
• Battery voltage: More than 12.9V (At idle)
• Engine coolant temperature: 70 - 100C (158 - 212F)
• PNP switch: ON
• Electric load switch: OFF
(Air conditioner, headlamp, rear window defogger)
On vehicles equipped with daytime light systems, set lighting switch to the 1st position to light only
small lamps.
• Steering wheel: Neutral (Straight-ahead position)
• Vehicle speed: Stopped
• Transmission: Warmed-up
- CVT models
• With CONSULT-III: Drive vehicle until “ATF TENP SEN” in “DATA MONITOR” mode of “TRANSMISSION”
system indicates less than 0.9V.
• Without CONSULT-III: Drive vehicle for 10 minutes.
- M/T models
• Drive vehicle for 10 minutes.
Do you have CONSULT-III?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> GO TO 3
2.IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING
With CONSULT-III
1. Perform Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning. Refer to ECM-19, "ACCELERATOR PEDAL
RELEASED POSITION LEARNING : Special Repair Requirement".
2. Perform Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning. Refer to ECM-19, "THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION
LEARNING : Special Repair Requirement".
3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
4. Select “IDLE AIR VOL LEARN” in “WORK SUPPORT” mode.
5. Touch “START” and wait 20 seconds.
Is “CMPLT” displayed on CONSULT-III screen?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> GO TO 5.
3.IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING
Without CONSULT-III
NOTE:
• It is better to count the time accurately with a clock.
• It is impossible to switch the diagnostic mode when an accelerator pedal position sensor circuit has
a malfunction.
1. Perform Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning. Refer to ECM-19, "ACCELERATOR PEDAL
RELEASED POSITION LEARNING : Special Repair Requirement".
2. Perform Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning. Refer to ECM-19, "THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION
LEARNING : Special Repair Requirement".
3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
4. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
5. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch ON and wait 3 seconds.
6. Repeat the following procedure quickly five times within 5 seconds.
- Fully depress the accelerator pedal.
- Fully release the accelerator pedal.
7. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the MI stops
blinking and turned ON.
8. Fully release the accelerator pedal within 3 seconds after the MI turned ON.
9. Start engine and let it idle.
10. Wait 20 seconds.

Easy peasy.....;)

I read article 50719 about the Throttle position with interest, as i have exactly the same issue.
However, when i try to re-calibrate the throttle positions there is nothing to indicate on the dash board that the car is taking any notice of the various times and accelerator pedal activities.

I presume for the third activity "IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING" that there should be light (MI?) which goes out?

The article also refers to "CONSULT-III", is this software that can be run on a lap top?

I know its been a while since this subject was raised, but i would appreciate any help on this, cheer.

CONSULT-III (Nissan diagnostic/setup/config tool)

Its about £7k's worth of proprietary equipment (hw & sw) and stops all of us in our tracks where its required to setup and configure particular parts of the car. Is not for general sale.

Thought it might be something like that . I did find some software for sale £15, I half hoped I just had to find a console cable for the OBD and it would work. Nothing is that simple. cheers anyway
