Car production falls 17% in Sept. The QQ is shown but there is no comment about Nissan Problems, but as stated the problem could well be the new emission regulations causing delays - Dave :)

Its mostly scaremongering. If the EU make life difficult for us then it will also impact upon them so its a lose lose for everyone.
Take the recent scare about lettuce and tomato. If it becomes difficult to ship them here we just stop buying from them. Where then will they sell theirs? So they lose as well. Its always been my assumption that since 1975 France ,Germany etc have slowly been milking this country of its industry. Cars, water, electricity, steel the list goes on. Yes you can we become complacent, un competitive. We have slowly sleep walked into a form of dictatorship. Its time to take stock and address the balance.

Taken from Nissan site.
In March 2018, Nissan sold 24,561 cars in the UK, about a third less than in March 2017. They nevertheless hold a market share of 5.18 percent.

Don't be sad, rejoice in the fact that we as humans are taking fewer resources from the planet. For too long have cars been non-upgradeable, but another item in our throw away society.

I look forward to the day when the car manufacturer always owns the car & we just lease/hire off them. Apparently, studies have shown there will be far fewer items going into landfill & much more recycling.

Is not the reduction in sales figures due to VW and emissions scandal plus dieselgate?
