Gel, you could well be right, but this is only in 2 States. In the US they expect Service but in most places such as Florida this is the Norm to Fill Up Yourself. I always use a Mobil Non Self Service Pump because there is Never a queue and it is quicker (also you get the windows, tyres etc done if needed) but I am always told firstly it costs a few cents more per liter, but it is still cheaper than here, so what the Hell - Dave
