You mean they didn't see it coming? It's caught them unawares? Surely not.

Gloucester, did I say that I do not think so perhaps you are reading it differently. I was at our Dealer last week and it was very quite, today I went to another of the Dealers and it was like a morque, very quite, one Sales person and very few vehicles in the Show Room it was just like the place was being shut down - Dave ;)

DaveBerlin wrote: Sun Jun 10, 2018 4:41 pm It appears that things are indeed heating up for Mercedes here now with the talk today of a recall of over a possible 1Mio vehicles. It looks like the new Transport Minister (Scheuer) is no friend of the Motor Industry like the last one (Dobrindt) and the old saying is “A New Broom Sweeps Clean” is starting to take place - Dave :)
There is also talk of a vehicle ban (taken of the road) of VW vehicles that have not had VW Software Updates done as they no longer meet the Technical Specs and the Government Paperwork is out of date Garde Meubles Bordeaux. This is becoming a joke as it has been said that the “Software” (old Government recommendation) is not the answer and the better option is “Hardware”

But the updates came after Tuareg and Tiguan. With more powerful software and more ergonomic too.
