Yes it can be done and has been done by many of us on here. Its just as quick and easy for you to use the search button at the top of the forum instead of relying on others to find the info for you. It should take you no longer tgan a few minutes.

As gvmdaddy has stated and the inclusion of the “Searched” attached long post is the one you need. The parts are now available through eBay and are manufactured in Russia from uprory.ru but they are excellent and definitely are a bonus for the QQ - Dave :)

Note that the J11b bonnet is different to the J11a one - whilst that's unlikely to affect the installation of the Russian struts it would be worth checking with the supplier before ordering.

I pondered installation of struts while I had my Qashqai but decided I so rarely needed to go under the bonnet it wasn't worth it. I solved the problem (and a lot of others) in the end by swapping the bonnet (and the rest of the car!) to the smaller Ignis one which can be lifted with one finger... :)

Good point regarding the new model J11B. I find these very helpful considering the cost and the effort to install which was only around 5 Minutes. I am under the Bonnet at the very least once a month and even our Dealers Service Dept likes them. The fact is the Bonnet is on the heavy side compared to smaller designs - Dave :D
On the web these are everywhere now even on AliExpress :)
