So do I understand this correctly, if it now has Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, then it won’t have a built in satnav?

It will have built in sat nav. Most cars with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto do. My Ignis does. It's only really budget cars that don't. I think the Up! may be one of them.
In fact the Qashqai improves its sat nav by doing away with the SD card (I deduce) and having downloadable updates.

I ask this because if you bought the new Micra Limited Edition with Apple CarPlay then that doesn’t have a satnav, or so I was informed when I was buying my daughters car four months ago.

Gvmdaddy, you have questioned whether the Updated QQ has a “Sat Nav”, my question is did you read all of the posted attachments as there appears to be comments on this updated system. If you missed this then please take a look, I Hope this helps - Dave

To be honest Dave I haven’t read all the stuff, I got bored after wasting my time watching the pointless video. Having now caught up it seems like the new car will be the car we all thought we were getting when the J11 was released first time around. I just hope the advertising is more honest this time round.

This is MY2019 so probably new orders made now.
