QashqaiGuy, at last just had a Test Drive in a QQTekna + with all the new additions and Winter Alloys. This was our 1st Test Drive, 1,3L, 160PS, 7 Speed DCT Gearbox all as reported before, so now it comes down to the thinking, the options, the pricing, the discounts etc before the next meeting.

The test car was fitted with the 1.3-L petrol engine with 160PS coupled up to the new seven-speed dual clutch transmission and even the Stop Start worked. The Motor developes 160PS and 260Nm of torque, claimed speed for the QQ from 0-60mph in 9.9 seconds and on to a 125mph top speed. As for efficiency, Nissan claims 52.3mpg on the combined cycle with a CO2 output of 131g/km (19” Wheels). Nissan also mentions it delivers “reduced fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions.” ( Figs do vary on writeups).
The QQ felt refined and offered very good power delivery throughout the rev range and allowing the Qashqai to travel along the German Autobahn amongst the “Elephant (Truck) Derby” with minimal effort. The DCT was very smooth in regular driving on normal roads and Booting it on the Autobahn, all in all a good first test even the wife gave it a go and was impressed her first Drive in an Auto - overall verdict impressed ! Dave 🙂

Dave, glad you got to drive it! I'm loving mine and have done about 1800 miles so far. I fitted some universal roof bars and have a roof box now, neither changes the MPG.

Let us know if and when you get your own one!

Hey,

I would say usually about 35-45mpg, that's urban driving. My best journey so far was 49.7mpg.

Now that the weather is warming up I am getting 70+mpg (best 74.2mpg) on my 2014 DCI manual with 44,000 miles on the clock.

This is from cold I the daytime on my 30 mile commute into work. It is on mainly A roads and the traffic speed is 50-55mph however it is very good in my opinion.

Just to give you an "Heads Up" on the Tekna + Model. We had completed our "Spec" on a new QQ Tekna + and discussed this with our Sales Guy. Last week we received a written Quotation to look over, but this week we have been informed that there are some Upgrades in progress for the Tekna +, so we need to re-visit and check things out what is what !.
Just as limited Information at present : Production start is in May and will include the Dynamic Paket / ProPILOT - Safety Shield etc... There appears also to be certain revisions in that the previously External Areas with the Black Matt Plastic will now be Color Matched to the QQ. That means the Sides / Front - Rear Bumper Areas and the Wheel Arch Trims. The Options will be limited to 5 QQ Colors and the 19" Alloys will be the "WIND" type, naturally also a Price increase is there - Dave :)

These are the "WIND" Wheels but not sure of the Color :
