From today's Telegraph:

"Ex-Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn has been re-arrested to face new financial misconduct charges in a move the car industry boss attacked as "outrageous and arbitrary".

Mr Ghosn was taken back into custody in Tokyo on Wednesday night, less than a month after he was released on bail having been detained for more than 100 days while he was questioned over other allegations.

In a statement issued through his lawyers, Mr Ghosn called the new charges “legally dubious” and said the move was “part of another attempt by some individuals at Nissan to silence me by misleading the prosecutors”.

This may be the reason. But maybe they want to do a test too.

Similar to the gamers around Trump. If somehow you don't conform or nod in the right direction at the right times you get toasted....persistently.

Anyway...there's money somewhere.
