Microsoft Hololens

I am not sure if this is of any interest but this is information on how Microsoft’s Hololens System Headset (not exactly new) is being used in the Auto Industry by for example Toyota / Ford & Volvo - Dave

I listen to a couple of tech podcasts and very little is mentioned about HoloLens any more. You cant purchase it any more as a consumer.

A great idea that is very expensive & will probably just fade away, although there probably will be something else that comes along and replaces it in the future. HoloLens 2 maybe?

Google was amongst the first to bring Augmented Reality with Google Glass, apparently, they are making a new version.

Daewar, perhaps I read these articles wrongly but I thought this was interesting as the System is being used in the Auto Industry more. In these articles it is mentioned Auto Companies now using this system are Toyota, Ford, Volvo, Daimler and Paccar Trucks which to me appears there is an interest - perhaps I misunderstood Dave

Its several good articles you have shown and it is interesting. I work in the Aerospace industry and we've had 3D systems shown to us to help with aircraft maintenance, but 2 years later its still not being used. Its probably that this tech (Augmented Reality) is still in its infancy and will become part of normal life in the future. The advertising world would love to throw targeted adverts in front of your face as you walk past shops, it just a matter of time.
