Noddy, you asked so you are going to get it have a Beer and a read. As you can see there are a lot of facts on this Forum
This US Co. American Hydrocarbon I spoke to about 3 years ago in Florida at a Corvette Show and the quality of this “Foiling” or “Hydrographics” was unbelievable on what I saw. Some of the engine parts or body parts were really nice. There is also a pic of a Lotus at a British Car Show also “Foiled” Quality also very good and joins were difficult to find.
Naturally to get a good end product the parts have to be disassembled and prepared. I believe if it is a DIY job you will need patience, possibly some trial and error and there is most likely tricks and techniques for this process. Take a look around as near us in Berlin there is a “Foiling” Co. and one of the biggest suppliers of “Foil” is the Co. “3M”.
As you can see I did have some interest on this technique s I hope this meets your needs. Should keep you quite for a few hours - Dave

Cheers chaps. Did see the Black edition job around the windows, just wondered if anyone had done other parts. Looking/thinking of maybe doing something with the wheels for a bit of a change.
Not really interested in the wrapping option Dave, as it's used daily I can't afford to be without whilst the process is done.

Hence why I highlighted a post where someone had done it successfully, to show one who didn’t just seems counterproductive to me?gloucester wrote: ↑Sun Feb 17, 2019 11:50 am It wasn't that one I was referring to - check out viewtopic.php?f=24&t=5797&p=51823&hilit ... dip#p51823
