Nissan to introduce e-POWER models in Europe for Customer Cars in 2022 - Dave :)
The e-POWER system includes a gasoline engine with a power generator, an inverter, a battery and an electric motor. Used solely to charge the high-output battery, the gasoline engine always runs at an optimal speed. This leads to superior fuel efficiency and lower emissions compared with a traditional internal combustion engine.

Does the petrol engine run on fresh air? Funny how such trivial matters get forgotten in renders like this

Naturally I believe most members are concerned with the Disposal of Batteries in the Future. Daewar added a couple of attachments regarding Tesla on the attached post and I have just read up on a more recent version - Just a few more facts Dave 🙂

Here is a Post from 2017 with facts on Electric Cars & Batteries :

Tesla’s Approach to Recycling is the Way of the Future for Sustainable Production (some content is similair to Daewar’s Tesla comments above) :

Two Re-Cycling Companies are mentioned :

I meant as in, who's going to pay the £10k for a new battery ? Who's going to buy a 5 - 10 year old electric vehicle that hasn't had a new battery fitted ?
