Was watching on TV this morning a Raod Test on this SUV and OK it is not cheap, but the reason I posted was not for the SUV but for some additions which I thought were interesting (possibly to some not) - Dave 🙂

Some nice ideas there but when choosing, my wife point blank refused to drive a Skoda :)

Can’t quite work out the door protectors Dave, not visible on the first pic, but nice touches as you say.
I often ride in my friends Yeti, it’s ok, feels a bit industrial compared to my QQ, but for some the old Skoda name just stops them buying one.

Last time my car was completely frozen, I couldn't open the petrol flap for ages at the petrol station as it was iced shut. Storing the ice scraper in there may not be the best idea...

I would never have considered Skoda until a friend of mine leased a brand new Skoda Superb. And it did live up to the name,.

Chris, Good Point, but perhaps they have a different system of opening. We have also had this problem of the frozen Petrol Flap Cable had it on the Juke also, I tend now to spray it liberally with WD40 / Grease in the Area or use the Wife‘s Hairdryer when stuck 🤫 - Dave 🤨

I would have bought a skoda and got chatting to a salesperson who was desperate to give me a test drive in 1 so I agreed but in turn I said before the test drive I said to him that I wouldn't be signing for anything as I would need my wife (as she wasn't with me and in a wheelchair) to only sit in car to see what it was like to transfer into it so the salesperson then refused to give me test drive until my wife was with me!!! Baring in mind my wife gets fatigued extremely quickly getting in and out of cars so I done the checking and testing first and narrowed it down to 3 cars before she got involved.. This skoda was on top of my list and would have definitely bought it even before the test drive as when I sat in it there was tonnes of room........... Hence now I'm driving a QQ
