Bit of an update this morning on our colour dilemna ... the dealer decided we're going grey! Our order was in for Gun Metallic but we went round three dealers on Sunday comparing colours. Suddenly they ALL looked good in the sunshine so we were more confused than ever, but it was still grey vs blue, with blue now the favourite. Emailed the dealer last night about the possibility of amending the order. Learnt this morning there was a mistake in the pricing which they will honour so we have saved an extra £500! If we wanted to go blue it would cost an extra £650 with another 2 month wait, so as much as I like blue, I'm not paying for the privilege twice, plus the extra wait. All of a sudden we love Gun Metallic again! The even better news was our car will be delivered this month or early August so I will be able to post a few pics for anyone considering a Gun Metallic Tekna+ Sport Pack. Unlike Nick suffolk my wife hates the Tekna alloys so we will have the Wind option which should help others' choices too. Looking forward to seeing Nick's pics on Saturday, hope Vivid Blue doesn't look TOO good though . If it does it could be grounds for divorce for me and Dave (from our respective wives, not each other). How did you find the 1.3 DCT Dave? We're bucking the anti-diesel trend and sticking with the frugal 1.5 dci before it gets binned as we're planning on a few road trips to celebrate my retirement. Not that bothered about performance, I've got a quick car in the garage for when Mrs. Speed-Limiter isn't with me .

The Drive with the Tekna + 160PS & DCT was really nice, the Motor was really quite and very responsive. The DCT Gearbox was also very smooth and very little notice of gear change surges, overall Yes Nice this could be the way we go.

Thanks Dave, why did it have to be a red one! The more I see it the more I like it, shiny and quite rare now! I've seen a few manufacturers pushing it as their new signature colour. We test drove the 1.3 petrol 160ps and the 1.5 dci 115ps with the DCT box. Both were great but for me the diesel had the edge as we will be doing the miles to justify one before every city centre bans them by charging fees to enter . I'm looking forward to seeing the blue vs grey / Tekna vs Wind alloy comparisons too. You should be in a position to place an order then or are you waiting to see cars in the flesh? My order was 17/06 and delivery may be as early as this month so maybe could be worth waiting for you, just to be sure.

Thanks for sharing Nick, looks superb. Colour coding looks great and the rear end is smarter, very different. Just hope it looks as good in Gun Metallic . Made enquiries with a couple of detailers today re. availability. I reckon Gun Metallic is going to need a quality correction and ceramic coating to look as good as that.

I read that the new Sports Pack on Tekna + would also include 19” Wind alloys FOC but doesn’t appear so going by photo.

The sport pack does include Wind alloys Mark, Nick said in an earlier post he prefers the Tekna alloys. Either can be specced as a no cost option. I'm having the Wind alloys on a Gun Metallic. I was told today delivery could be this month or early August. I will post pics as soon as I can. Checked the configurator tonight. Nissan have done half a job showing a sport pack blue Tekna+ on the first page only, you go to choose colour and it’s the previous version.
