I am not sure if this will be of interest to QQ J11 Owners as we have the new Air Con Gas R1234yf which is the new inflammable one. For the QQ J10 Owners this could be of interest as the Gas is still the Old R123a. If Owners are likely to be DIY people or have friends / workshops who can do the top up then this might be of interest as this stuff is cheaper.
Apparently it has been proven that suppliers of the R123a are reducing production which in effect will mean Gas will be scarce.
Here it has been found by Autobild that supplies are being offered on eBay or Websites in Non Returnable Cylinders mostly from Poland and Mixed with other Gas from China. This means that if used the Air Con System could be damaged. These Non Returnable Cylinders usually 13,6kgs were banned by the EU in 2007 and therefore only Refillable Cylinders were allowed under the EU Norm F-Gas Regulation - Dave
1x Returnable / 2x Illegal Non Returnable (Gas can still be contained in the Cylinder - what happens to it when Dumped !)
Holland have also picked this up. Dutch warn on illegal refrigerant :
