Autocar not very keen? Haven't read the full test yet but here's the conclusion.

I suspect a T-Cross specced up to Tekna standard would be significantly more. When I was looking at one I got to over £30k!

Gloucester, Spec’ing out your needs for a new vehicle is always for us a Must. When you make a comparison from the Basic to the Top Model there is a world of difference not only price but Spec wise. I have also Spec’ed out German Models with a personal Spec and in the end you can just give up and forget it price wise +++. We are only talking about a Nissan Model but what you actually get Spec / Price Wise is pretty damn good.
Have you looked at the new Juke as it is worth the time just for interest ? 👍
The end final decision is what do you really want to meet your needs or is it just nice to have, in some cases you are tied into these decisions with Option Packages and no get out though - some you win some you lose Dave 😏

The new Nissan Juke, with the Light Grey Cloth & Syntech Leather Seats (Storm White with Pearl Black roof), just arrived in the showroom whilst I was waiting for a software update on my Qashqai.

Sandgrounder, what did you think of it, we had the older Tekna model and this new one is a really nice option. It was the same version at the Launch here - Dave 😊

Do you know, Dave, I was really impressed with the quality of materials inside and the look of it outside.

Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come for future Nissan vehicles :)

Sandgrounder, we had a Modified Nissan Note and the Juke and were seriously thinking of buying a Nismo Juke in 2014 but in the end the QQ Tekna got the vote mainly because of the poor access in the rear (Oldies) and space. This new Juke has been vastly improved design and quality wise, but it is just the engine range at present that is not so inviting, but it is way way better and worth considering - Dave 😉

I ended up with a Juke NISMO RS as a courtesy car when I took my previous Qashqai in for its second service. The dealership had loaned all their courtesy cars out (Micras) so I was given the NISMO for a few hours (it only had 1,200 miles on the clock). It was my first experience with an automatic too! That was before Lancashire County Council introduced their 50mph average speed cameras in the area, so I had a bit of fun that day ;) :P

P.S. I put £7 of petrol in at the time, which equated to 30 miles!

Here is one for the Women - Dave 😁

“Drawing on more than 30 years of collective experience, Nissan Colour Manager, Lesley Busby and Nissan Colour, Material and Finish Designer, Carine Giachetti, take inspiration from the world around them, helping them to bring the colour to a masterpiece that was several years in the making.l
