Whilst waiting for the software update to be completed on my Qashqai, I have been checking out the N-Tec edition model in the showroom.

Unfortunately, you can’t specify the heat pack as an option but it has everything else I would need. It has the LED lights that are standard on the Tekna model. Also black roof rails.

Sandgrounder, to be really honest I rather like the Gun Metal with the Black touches. That is basically what we were aiming for with ours without a lot of Black respray work but we went chrome instead and the Black Alloys. Technical Spec looks good but I cannot really compare it to the Tekna + like for like - But still Nice Dave

I will get the first MOT done for my Qashqai late summer, then I will wait for details about the new Qashqai so I can make my mind up whether to buy the new model or grab a bargain on the current J11B (maybe the Tekna+ like yours ). Sounds like November for the new Qashqai

I have just received from Nissan Information on the N-TEC Range with “Special Offers” for the “Champions League Week” but it looks like it runs for the month of March. If you look at the attachment (it’s in German just as a comparison) for the new 3x N-TEC’s you will see that there are offers of :
QQ €6600 = £5756 (140PS 6 MT / X-Trail €6700 = £5844 160PS DCT / Micra €4300 = £3750 100PS 5MT
Is this a Common Offer from Nissan in the UK for the “Champions League” also ? - Thanks Dave
I have always had an eye out in the US for the Nissan Murano which is also manufactured in Russia. I found a Russian starting price today of £21393 for the Murano & £10905 for the QQ but an unknown Spec I would assume Basic from ...... but still a nice price !

Probably a little bit early for me to change at the moment but this limited edition N-tec has always caught my eye. I am told that the manufacturing has now finished (but can't be absolutely sure that this is correct) but the dealers in my area (after I employed my Spanish Inquisition method) tell me that there are new cars out there with discounts around £5,500 on 0% PCP. Just wondered if sandgrounder (presumably in my area) has been tempted.

Redqashqai, unfortunately it is true there are changes in the pipeline. Have you read this post attached ? Might be worth asking you Dealer what’s on offer - asking does not cost Dave

Yes Dave, I did read that thread. The dealers in the UK tell me that they are still factory ordering the old trim variants and no one is offering the new trim variants. Either way, my query was specific to the N-tec and its current availability as a new car purchase.
