Colin, the DM just basically keeps me informed up until I have read too many free articles . Here are some articles which should bring you up to speed on the German Auto Industry, Yes they do have many problems like everywhere else but it is being sorted.
I am no VW, MB, Audi, Porsche supporter anymore after what happened with “Dieselgate”, but what my concern is, is that VW stop producing “Currywurst / Sauce” then I have a Problem - Dave 😂

VW canteen bangers?

Hanchen mit pomme frites.... (mayonnaise of course). And the curry sauce that I've had to import.

They don't seem to get anywhere near it here...and its dead simple.

The Chinese nosh was much better in S. Holland also.

“The resumption of production comes as the factory's future remains up in the air, with Nissan bosses refusing to guarantee its future unless a trade-free Brexit agreement can be arranged between Britain and Europe”. - Dave 🤨

“Nissan Sunderland plant this week resumed vehicle production after almost three months, with a new Juke the first car off the line on Monday evening. The vehicle factory in the North East - the biggest in the country with more than 7,000 staff - is one of the last major car manufacturing sites to restart outputs following the coronavirus lockdown”.

Nissan have confirmed it will not extend the contracts of 248 temporary workers at the Sunderland car factory as the industry struggles with reduced demand amid the coroanvirus outbreak - Dave 🤨

The clue = Temporary workers. They would have known when starting that the employment had a sure end date. Anyway. they gained some learning and/or experience I suspect...better than these stupid Uni's

Sorry not Auto related News just a bit of light stuff 🤭
Well as I had mentioned it here I thought I would post the latest. Unfortunately VW have made the decision to reduce producing its biggest production of Currywurst Sausages - Mein Gott! Volkswagen Abolishing Currywurst At HQ For Meat-Free Alternatives. It'll be a little harder to get Volkswagen's famous currywurst at its Wolfsburg factory on August 20 because one of the plant's cafeterias will become fully vegetarian, according to Wolfsburger Nachrichten. It will be part of an overall goal from the automaker's head chef to serve no meat from factory farms at the facility by 2025.
What a disaster I need to stock up the Freezer, believe you me they taste good (the equivalent to English Fish & Chips ) - Dave 😩
