This might be of interest to some - Could give the LR Defender & MB G-Wagen a run for their money - Dave 😊👍

2021 Ineos Grenadier: rugged 4x4 to be revealed tomorrow | Autocar : https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new- ... d-tomorrow

Autocar Comments :
“Although we knew that this would be an uncompromising off-road car developed in the mould of the original Land Rover Defender, the images confirm that car's boxy exterior provides heavy inspiration. From the front, we can also see a likeness to early versions of the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. A new preview image from the firm shows off a Defender-style raised bonnet with contrasting air intakes and exposed fixings.
The clearest Defender inspiration is at the front, where the Grenadier appears to share the same round headlights and horizontal bar grille design. The rear gives less away; the prototype has no back windows, suggesting either heavy disguise or that this is a commercial variant of some sort.”

Oh dear...Big Oil and Chemical, if not an awful lot more.

I'm surprised he tolerates the UK really. Particularly Grangemouth in Scotland and the SNP anti frack games. They are truly anti industry.

Wales...well? Am not allowed in there at the moment..would be ejected into England. No doubt invaders get a free ride in.

Sir James Dyson, Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Wonder they didn't combine on this stuff?

I'll be really surprised if they can do it for £40k. After all the Land Rover Defender costs "from £40,330" and this is far more niche. Expect £60k...

Remember the Tesla 3 was touted at £25k but costs over £40k...

Now that Daimler have put their French Factory up for sale in Moselle where the Smart was made, it looks like Wales could now miss out - Dave 🤨

Seems logical - why build a new factory for scratch when there's one ready and waiting for you.

Time and cost benefits.

Yup Gloucester that’s Business for you and of course it makes sense but my point was that Wales (UK) will possibly miss out - Dave 😕
