At least some are talking (bothering) about the crazed idea of killing off ICE vehicles too quickly. Preparedness is not there and won't be for > 20 years IMO.

Cambria Automobiles chief executive Mark Lavery has urged his car retail colleagues to lobby Government over an all-out push to Electric Vehicles (EV) which risks catching UK automotive “sleeping at the wheel”.

Well The Memsahib has just ordered a Leaf (Tekna).
She had one for about 90 minutes on Friday and loved it.
I drove it (only 5 miles) and agree, it’s quiet (shock !) and surprisingly nippy.
Don’t know what living with one will be like but looking forward to finding out.
Also looking forward to to The Mem driving more often !!
