Picking up a brand new Teckna

Hi All,
I am on Motability and changing from a Juke Teckna auto 1.6 nightshade to a Qashqai Teckna auto 1.2 ink blue.

As I am aware there are many things the same between the Juke & Qashqai, I just want to know is there anything I should look for on collection?
Which sat nav sd card should it come with? Bearing in mind it will probably be out of date anyway.

I had to pop into the dealership today to do some paperwork and the sales man showed me my car! I would of loved to jump in and drive it home, but due to contracts I have to wait until next Monday.
Hopefully it will be sparking clean as when I saw it there were mud splashes!

Any advice for a disabled lady who is trying to contain her excitement, I want to sound knowledgeable when going over the car.

Many thanks

Nicole

Check its got the Nissan safety pack in the boot. Couple of hi-viz jackets, warning triangle, tyre inflater and gunk canister (no spare wheel im afraid). Make sure you have the coded socket for the locking wheel nuts....spare ignition key and its code for replacement. Check your oil level and tyre pressures before you drive it away....dealers are notorious for leaving the oil a little low and the tyres over inflated.

My Juke didn't have the "safety pack"!
So will ensure my Qashqai does.
Luckily never had to use the gunk stuff etc.

Thanks for advice much appreciated.

The "Nissan Safety Pack" is no longer standard as of several months ago.

I'm collecting my tekna + on Thursday 8th March and I've been asked if I want to "buy" a protection pack for £250 to include floor mats, mudguards boot liner and safety pack !! Should the safety pack be free? Thanks Wayne
