We've had out Qashqai for over 2 years now, it has 19 inch wheels, and the ride is fine, I keep meaning to try the self parking but have just never gotten around to it...………...perhaps next month or the month after :)

I have the N Connecta now approaching 15k miles and little appreciable tyre wear so far on 18" wheels. I believe the 19" tyres wear much quicker and considerably more expensive to replace. I think other issue that pushed me in the direction of the lesser spec was the protection offered to the diamond cut wheels by the standard tyres on the 18" wheels that is definitely not there with the 19 inchers making them far more susceptible to kerbing. I hope this is useful info.

So why should 18 tyres weare better than 19 tyres as it is all about how you drive and where you drive i have New Tekna with 19 comin up to 18000 mile and still got about another 20000 miles before i need new ones. If you drive alot of town urbon driveing then your tyres will where out quicker than them who use the motorway alot.

In fact if you think about it 19" tyres will be slightly wider than 18" ones? And so take less load psi?

I find the ride on the 19” wheels just fine - although you can expect a slightly lesser fuel consumption

There was a comment recently “Personally, I think all the QQ's are very slow and lethargic”, are we talking about an SUV or a Boy Racers Car. Most QQ drivers are normal ones who chose the QQ for what it offers and not being a Boy Racer.
Our 1,2L Manual is quoted as having a 0-100 km/h in 10,6 s / the CVT in 12,9 s.
The new 1,3L 140PS Manual is quoted as 0-100 km/h in 10,5 s / the 160 PS Manual in 8,9s / the 160 PS DCT Autobox in 9,9 s.
Perhaps I am wrong but to me these times are perfectly adequate and providing the revs are used still pretty quick - Dave 😋

When I tried the 1.3 160 auto on my own, I put my foot right down and I was very pleasantly surprised, it barely felt any different to me to the Xc40 T5 I had previously which a figure of 6.5 seconds to 100kph!! Very impressed

DaveBerlin wrote: Fri Dec 28, 2018 4:37 pm Dave, we are still awaiting a Test Drive in one. Did you get any idea of the availability / delivery time for one ? - Thanks Dave 👍
I test drove a N-Connecter on Saturday (19th Jan) as Tekna wasn't available, but the salesman said if I ordered that day delivery would be 1st April, which I thought was pretty good.

A bit different from when I was looking at a Seat Ateca last year. The waiting time was six months plus, and that was if you were lucky.

I have had a few diesels 2l 1.6 so on the 1.5 diesel in my QQ is vey quick for a 1.5 being a suv and realy can`t complain i wanted a car/suv to get me from A to B without the hassle of haveing a hot hatch and some tool in their 1.2 saxo thinking they are driving a F1 car been there.
