Just ordered a Tekna plus.......

Hi, I've just placed an order for a vivid blue Tekna+ 1.3 160 DCT, will get it on a 19 plate, well chuffed.
Had a half hour test drive today on my own in the exact spec I was interested in, that sold it to me, great drive.

Dave, we are still awaiting a Test Drive in one. Did you get any idea of the availability / delivery time for one ? - Thanks Dave

Yes, the dealership I had the test drive with and the broker I ordered from both said 6-8 weeks, so around mid February...hence hanging on another couple of weeks for the 19 plate

Good luck, personally I think 6-8 weeks is brilliant....I know for a fact that anything to do with the VW group you need to swap the weeks for months!! Lol

Glad to hear it! I took delivery of my Tekna+ 130 in Nov and love it!
Have you checked that you'll get the new infotainment system with Android Android and Carplay? Be careful as dealers seem to know very little about it. Might be an idea to check with them.

just asked a neighbour who has a “New” QQ what he has and he thought he had bought a new QQ which he has, but I did not like to upset him - old engine, old system etc but naturally grin grin a good price - Dave

Glad your enjoying your new car, I am definately getting the 1.3 160 and I assume the latest infotainment system, personally I'm not worried about Android auto or carplay as will never use, as long as there is a connection point for my gramaphone I will be happy

Shame they don't auto lock on driving off, oh well can't have everthing I suppose.
