Love it, my youngest went out in it yesterday, and he loves it too, he was impressed with the auto dipping LED headlights and loves the 360 degree camera. Just as well as my wife has told him he can have it when I stop driving in a couple of years. Oh1, and she does not find it any easier getting in and out, when she swivels round her feet are about 6" from the ground, but the 18" wheels are a much smoother ride than the 19" ones. I expect the one in the showroom had flat tyres

When I had a RAV4 and latterly with my Juke, I had a small folding step stool which lived in the boot which enabled my 90 year old mum to get in and out easily.consub wrote: βSun Mar 08, 2020 4:55 pm Love it, my youngest went out in it yesterday, and he loves it too, he was impressed with the auto dipping LED headlights and loves the 360 degree camera. Looked a lot like this Robert Dyas model.

You've got it the wrong way round - at 70mph it CAN read over - e.g. 73mph, but MUSTN'T read under - e.g.68mph.
Alternatively at an indicated 70mph it MUSTN'T actually be over - e.g. 73mph, but CAN be actually under - e.g. 68mph.
In any case it's not -0/+3% but rather:
Autoexpresses study also investigated how accurate speedometers were on some of the newest car models from 2019. They used a more accurate VBox meter fitted in 10 new cars, which is a device that uses a GPS signal to measure a carβs speed. As a result, they found that all cars tested fell within the 10 per cent plus 6.25mph over-read allowed by law. That ultimately means that carβs travelling at 40mph could be travelling at 50.25mph. - See more at: https://www.rivervaleleasing.co.uk/blog/posts/uk-speed-limits-tolerance-2019#sthash.5BWAxD2W.dpuf

Quite correct, thats what I meant, but got it round the wrong way.
If the actual speed is 70 the speedo must not read more than 70, or as it says above -a speedo must not indicate a speed less than the true speed
You would not believe how something so simple gets so complicated when the officials get involved. Then add in what the police allow if you are speeding

I have been trying out and getting used to the the driving aids and settings, and now have a couple of questions.
The first has been discussed on the forum but I have not seen a good answer. On pushing the eco mode switch, the eco lamp does not come on in the information display. It should be just below the gear display light ( D or P ). The car is automatic and accelerates like a dream, so I suspect it is always in the eco off position, but I might want to be an eco warrior at some time even if unlikely.
The second question is the Driver position entry / exit function, is this only on electric seats with memory function?
