Well, having taken advice from the forums and treated our "new" QQ to the Autoglym 3 step, we took her for a run up the Antrim coast. I don't know which looked better, the coast road or the car. (Who am I kidding, it was the car!!) Just wondering, how do I maintain this glossy finish. Do I have to polish every week? Do I just wash, dry and maybe wax? I'm a bit confused as some people on the forum say it will last for a few months yet others say they wax after washing because using the SRP weekly will damage the paintwork. So confused. :?

Congrats for the New Car!!!

I personally recommend using Nu Finish... its a Polishing (not wax). Search it in Youtube...

See attached my QQ...taken after Nu Finish had been applied.

Cheers

Used the Autoglym stuff previously on another vehicle....fantastic stuff!
Once fully loaded, just wash when necessary, polish when you feel the need, and top coat after 3-6 months or whenever you have the right weather and the time to do it!
Thinking about it, I really must revert back to using this stuff cos it really is bloody good stuff!

Have a look at powermaxed products I use 95% of the range. They are great value & also come with a full money back guarantee so it's a win win.

The Tsunami SIO2 wax is great & offers 12 months + protection & looks amazing when applied over a well polished car.
