Robaroo, after 2 years your QQ is still looking good, but definitely the Black Alloys look better than the “Steelies” obviously the Winter wheels like ours. You went with White / Black additions while we went the White / Chrome way, our QQ is now 4 years old, still looking good and still running - Dave

Hi Robaroo, Dave. I have a 2015 QQ with the 19" alloys, as per Dave's car. They look great (actually better looking than the top-of-the-range alloys on the latest QQ...) but with the low profile tyres, the ride is pretty firm, especially on some of the roads here in SA. I have a 16" black steel spare wheel and often thought about buying a set for my car. Having seen Robaroo's pictures with what appears to be the 16" steel wheels, I must confess that I like the look, so I'll check with my Nissan dealer about pricing. And the regular tyres will probably be cheaper than the 19" low profiles.....??

Monty, I can fully understand your feelings for a hard ride on bad roads but for us I find the ride here pretty good with no real complaints and they look good. We have a set of 16” Black Wheels but not because of the ride, because of the White Stuff which we get. The Steelies to me are not that well finished so we have Nissan “Plastic” Wheel Covers to improve the appearance, but in my opinion not as nice as Alloys - Dave

Still a very good looking car though! I like the wheels. I have the QQ Tekna myself with the 19" wheels and I like the ride a lot. Some say they are firmer, yes, but my old car was a GT Sports Coupé. Anything QQ is for me a smooth ride ;P

Nice white QQ, I like the Alloy Wheels, the black ones don't suit it as much.
