Added Dynamic indicators to go with the ultra thin LED strips I have hooked up to the front indicator, also added the Qashqai ground welcome lights

Nice job ;)
Wonder if there would be a possibility the hook those led strips on the back light units...
On the front I find it personally a bit to much with and the mirrors and the units being dynamic but on the back it would be a great plus.

I put them on for safety more than anything, I think the front headlight indicators are absolutely horrendous where they are positioned. In bright conditions they are practically useless sitting right next to bright leds.
About the back I dont know what kind of bulb is in the back unit, the front indicator bulb needed no cutting what so ever as you just wrap each cable from the strips to each side of the bulb wire.
As for the mirror indicators. I believe the ones I have removed could easily be opened and removed original leds then insert led strips of your own choosing, it would also save over £30

Hi
Not sure I did understand everything you wrote there ;)

I don't need to replace the LED from the mirror indicators with sequential strips, I was the one that introduced these dynamic turn signals here remember

I hear what you're saying about the visibility in the front but I installed Dunchos DRL mod which is much better!

Your LED strips couldn't be used for the back as they shine white when idle. ;)
I found these however but I think the flashing upon breaking wouldn't be allowed by EU legislation.

I can't see that these would be legal. Apart from the flashing, I don't see how they can be reflective.

It is in the UK, not 100% sure for EU countries, but suspect it's the same.

No the LED strips have 3 wires you only hook up the yellow and and ground so the normal LED's will not turn on, just the indicators when used.
My point about the mirror strips was that it could be done a lot cheaper. Unfortunately when you posted your video I had already ordered the dynamic mirror LED's, about a week before. and then decided to order the led strips for the front indicators to match. For me the the Dunchos DRL mod is way to much hassle for what it actually does.

My main priority was removing the side steps that was on the car to fit the ground lights. I now have to weld a new peace into the bars to hold the side steps up so that they can be drilled into the sill lip.
After that I will get round to installing outside door handle LED'S to come on with the ground lights, and door panel lighting on all the doors which I will hook up to the car ambient lighting so it can be adjusted via the settings.
Have done all these mods before to other cars but the wiring on the qashqai is something else. I only found out the other day that the front cigarette lighter was always live! I had installed a dashcam and wired it into it. It was by accident that I was passing the car about 5 days later and noticed the camera still on.

I have also done this, but took it a step further and connected the white DRL feed as well. So white normally and then dynamic orange when indicating. Combined with the dynamic side indicators that are also far better front on than originals, then shouldn’t have any issues with others from the front at roundabouts on sunny days now.
